So I got the low down from afew people..Congrats Mr VP !! Awesome job George!!
But no posts from anyone concerning the tournament? Results please? Top 5 would be nice? How did Jack and Dave like thier first tournament? Any news posted would be great! Thanks

George came in with 14 on 5 fish, Dennis J., with 11 on 5(and lunker at 4 pounds), Bill with 9 on 5, I had 7 high on 3 fish, Dennis R had 7 mid on 5....The
bite was TOUGH!! A change in wind, and a cold night made it tough. A lot of fish cruising (in fact two of mine came off beds). A lot of people had one or
two fish.
Nice job by all at that ramp, and I want to personally thank Brian for launching me and taking me out at the end of the day, and the extra special effort he put into parking me. |

Congrats to George, Bill & Dennis!
It was great to see everyone's new boats & fish with everyone! Bill & I thought the day was going to be great as we each caught keepers in the first half hour. It was good to see Bill clean up in the last half of the day - if it can't be me, then always happy it's my brother! I caught my fish on a Chatterbait. I just posted the results & AOY Standings. Will post the pix later in the week. Russ Bob (or George, or Mike) - please send me an email with the dates for the next meeting & Cub Scout outing @ Cochit so I can update the website. |

Congrats to the Winners and all that found fish!
Busted my butt at work thursday and friday, extremely long days to make the T, and didn't show any results. 1 small bass, and total exhaustion by sunday night! completely worth it! Tough day for me, although Im beginning to think Billington is a 1 fish T for me. 3 years in a row, 1 fish, and they keep getting smaller!! LOL I fished everything in the boat and at every depth, just could not find the fish. My one fish came in 4feet of waterm on a 4" senko It was great to get out, and see everyone. alot of good looking new boats in club this year! see you at the next one! - Heather |

Great day caught 10 bass and about 20 pickeral. Lunker caught on third cast of the day. Had my limit by 9am. Caught half of my bass on a tube and the rest on a
spinnerbait and various crankbaits.Only one on the famous rattletrap. Broke a rod on a mega 10 plus pound pickeral. Great day!

Congrats to all the winners. Struggled most of the day to find fish then caught a limit in the last 1.5-2 hours of the day. Got them on a spinnerbait and a
small shallow crankbait on windy shorelines. Had a good time fishing with James, he caught his limit of clams early in the day, and may have culled a few
times. Wish we could have caught a few more bigger bass instead of all the pickerel.

I'm like Heather on that lake, 1 bass per tourny and 20+ pickerel. What's up with that ???? Thanks to all that helped out. This club is great. Check this out. I was fishing a tourney at Whitehall Sunday with 30 boats. Idling to the ramp at 3pm and to my surprise my truck is coming on the ramp,I drove on and was puled out by none other that our president. Congrats to George,Dennis,Bill!! What a tough day!! Oh did I say what tough day!! Anyhow I washed off alot of baits!! Why couldn't that COLD Front held off
1 more day?
 Caught so many Pete's!! Did manage to catch a few
shorts and missed a few bites but there always next time I suppose?? Great job to everyone helping out at the ramp..good team work!!

Congrats George nice bag on a very tough day but there where a couple of good size fish caught.
Unfortunately I caught a couple but they just didn't measure up. But if you count pickerel Tim and I filled the boat.  . For my first Bass tourney I had a great time and good
company to fish with thanks Tim  .
I am already looking forward to the next one I think I am hooked on tourney fishing. Thanks to Tim I know where the rocks are at Billington............. just kidding Tim  just glad you had no serious damage.

Thanks for all the congrats and congrats to the other winners. What a day.
 I had a limit by 9:30 and they didn't stop comming. Caugth around 15 keepers and over 20 pic. Got most of them on the trap and crawdad. Great
job by everyone who help out at the T.

Congrats to all the winners - great job on a difficult day! Jack and I had a good time - a lot of laughs mostly due to my series of mishaps: hit a rock at
7:03 as my number was called; hit a second rock about an hour later (which was good for Danny B because he witnessed it and he had been searching for that rock
to fish.); dropped a reel in the water.. Jack fished it out; I almost fell in....really almost fell in (my new seat spins a little too easily); caught no Bass
but Pickeral; and to add insult to injury...on the drive home the car in front of me kicked up a rock and cracked my new truck windshield. Now, I don't
want to seem like I'm complaining...because I'm not...no damage to the lower unit.....but it was one strange day! : )
By the way, welcome to club again Jack - you are welcome on my boat anytime. (If your willing to risk it that is.) |
