Youth Derby This Saturday

This Saturday, May 17, at Lake Cochicuate. (Mass Pike, exit 13, rt. 30 east, about a mile on right).

Please plan on being ready to go by 5:50a.m. We will meet at the picnic tables.

I will bring the prizes and the bait.
Heather has a board to write down the names (do you need an eisle??) Do you need dry erase or regular markers??
George is bringing the scale and weigh-in stuff and a bull horn, and possibly and eisle.
Jack is bringing the coffe and munchkins...

First Place and Lunker-George LaRochelle 5 Fish 14.36 lbs. 4.92 Lunker

Second-Danny Boucher 5 Fish 13.53 lbs

Third-Bryan King 4 Fish 8.36 lbs

Fourth-Mike Richard 3 fish 6.40 lbs.

Many thanks to Danny B. for putting us on fish and being a great boater to fish with. All of our fish where caught on senko's. What a day. Thanks again Danny.

The next meeting will be Wednesday, May 7 7:00pm at Taylor Rental. Please post if you will be attending the meeting and fishing the T. Our President Bob has informed me he will be unable to attend the meeting so I will be running the show.
I will also need to know who is planing on fishing the State Fish-offs. I have to give the fed. a count.

Im drawing a blank, on the names of the Boy Scout troops, Bears, Weboles, ??????? I had an idea to chart the kids fish this year. Having all that Paper (with wind) last year was tough. Can you let me know that info.

The Fun tournament in August we be at...........

Bare Hill in Harvard. Date is Sunday, August 3rd. We can vote whether we want a 6-2 or 7-3 tournament, we have the option of either time. Max 12 boats for this fun T so we will need to pair up for a team tournament. We will need to mail them a check for $10 per boat a couple of weeks before the tournament, so we will need to decide who is fishing with who before then. We can discuss more at the next meeting.

Go route 3 south and get off @ Exit 6 (Route 44 the old Rt. 44 Samoset St.)
At the end of the ramp go right on 44 (west)
At the first set of lights take a left (Pilgrim Hill Rd)
At the end of Pilgrim take a left (Summer Street)
Go a short bit on Summer & take a right (Morton Park Road)
Follow till you reach water (Little Pond not Billington)
Take a left then bear right up a hill on a fire road between the ponds. You will come up on the ramp on the left.

Fed Report, Fishoff, will has 2 loading sites, silver sands and marine patrol, parking at Gunstock, Fed would like to have number angler at next fed meeting, if your planning on attending, please let George know.

If you highschool/college age kids, the are Scholarship programs through the Fed.

We have a meeting next Wednesday, April 23 7:00 pm at Taylor Rental . This is our first pre tournament meeting of the year. We need to know who is fishing. Please post here if you are and plan on coming to the meeting.
Remember to bring money for Limbo Lunker. I only have money from 3 members so far.
Boaters also need to show proof of insurance before first T.

Well
work was done for me just after noon,put the boat in the charles just after 1:30,got off at 5:30,caught 4 dinks,had 1 3-4 lber hit at the boat but got off quickly,it was very aggresive surprisingly,water temp was 60 at its hottest..

changed water pump and fuel filter lastnight,boat ran great although i noticed a coke colored liquid coming from the bottom of cowling afterwards..looked for anything leaking or any signs after removing cowling but did not notice anything...

Well..

Finally got out for afew hours on cochit,saw the CFBC Prez Bob out there,nice to see you bud !

La'Machine is running good thank god ! Found 5 nests in it this year,4 compartments and 1 under the engine cowling!!??

Didnt catch anything other than maybe a cold..was alittle chilly out there then the rain came and I was gone shortly after
